i had my memphis audio comps hooked up to a sony amp for awhile.. i eventually bridged the amp to the two front speakers and its rated power was 150 rms @ 4 ohms... with no real problems... now i know sony is over rated but... i just got a new jbl amp pushin 104 rms @ 4 ohms... and it destroyed my tweeters in seconds (so much for "advanced tweeter protection" on the crossovers...)
