Is getting trophies getting old?

how about trophies support and national recignition? more people that know a competitor did well with a product helps the manufacturer and the support helps the competitor...trophies are just iceing on the cake...although getting your picture taken with a few playboy bunnies with the words (competitor name here) wins (year org class) and put into 2-3 magizines would be sweet as well lol. (talking about a replacement for trophies where competitor gets free issues of publications with said pictures)

I agree with what you are saying, I think with what you said, would entice both sides

maybe more coverage on the winners would get manufacture support
