Oh I know lol I wasnt planning on running .5 I was just curious for future usage. Any idea where I can snag one for under 300? Ive been lookin all over

i have a full sundown set up and love it I had the choice of a crescendo and took sundown.. Their imp rise is way high and rate at 14 volts while sundown is doing it more realistically at 12.4v not even mentioning how much more efficient these amps are. Plus crescendo service IMO hasn't been good but everyone had their own opinion.

Well is a used saz-1500 going to be better than a refurbished one? Cuz I could get a used one for about 300 vs the refurb for 287

Well if your gettin the refurb 1500 from dbr I'd say go for it awesome place and it comes with a year warrant just incase something stupid happens ya know.

Im kinda digging the idea of strapping 2 apsm 1300's. Thats 1200 rms to both subs at 1 ohm. Hows that sound?

More like 1k ea, but at 2ohms iirc.

So can anyone on here give me like a demonstration or something on exactly how to strap 2 amps together? I am kind of lost when it comes to that topic since i havent ever done it before. Sorry for the newb post (im not new) but I am yet to do that. Thanks

I'd go with the refurb Sundown. They are the only one of the lot that is super reliable and if db-r repaired it, odds are he strengthened a few things while he was in there in addition to just fixing whatever was wrong.

I too have had a good experience with Crescendo customer service and wouldn't hesitate to buy their stuff again if it fit my needs/budget.

Strapping 2 amps to a 1 ohm load each amp "sees" .5 ohm. You will want a little more electrical for that probably. Also I'd run one amp per sub if that's an option over strapping (if you even go that way). I've done a lot of playing around and it seems they do better that way generally.
