ok guys I wanna hear what you think...

for a street beat setup (USACi) what do you think would work best for me...

Treo SSx

DD 9500

maybe TC lms?

Given:

-all are a pair of 12's

-planning on using around 8000w

-going to use a crx style slot ported box that is 5 cubes net at 40 hz for the pair

Basically same conditions just different sub...

I like DD because they can take plenty more than they are rated for and take the abuse like it is nothin...

The treos I have heard around here are okay, I have not heard a pair of ssx's with alot of power...I know they can take lots of abuse as well, but after seing alot of people run them I haven't been very impressed...

Like I said this will be a Street Beat set up and will be in my Jimmy with which I will be playing around a 50hz song bc thats my resonant frequency... I got the electrics taken care of but I figured I would see what you guys thought...

i run 2 12" csx's in a 6. cf box tuned to 40hz and off of 600 watts per sub it does good enough to pull off a 147 on tha TL. hope i get my 1500.1 back soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Id do 9500, then SSX. But if you wont to go kinda cheaper look into AudioQue, there very similar to DD without the price

ya the son of the owner of DD is the owner of Audioque.....

I think they even work in the same shop...

my biggest thing with treo is that i have not heard anything besides a daily setup that isn't very loud...

the loudest treo setup I have heard is an xtreme s10 with 4 12"s and over 4000w and got a 155 on the AC.... but thats 4 12's with a CF 1000D per sub wired to a 1/8 ohm....I think he was squeezin closer to 1600w per amp...

you do know that treo and dd share very similar designs right? i think it was treo, mmats, and dd that were all making woofers together, then they split or something along those lines.

I know that DD used to make some woofers for other companies but that is about all I do know...

I know that treos and dd look similar but they are different...fairly sure...
