Ok heres the deal. I am about to buy 2 aqx-35001 amps and running them at .5 ohm each. Roughly around 3700 watts for each amp.

What would be better on each amp? 2 runs of copper coated aluminum new shok 1/0 or 1 run of of kolossus fleks pure copper 1/0? Obviously I can't afford 2 runs of kolossus fleks per amp.

shok has 3 kinds of wire. 2 kinds are all copper then the cheaper roll is copper coated aluminum its like $79 a roll (50ft)

So you would do 1 run of kolossus copper over 2 runs of new shock cca?

2 runs of power, 1 run of any kind of wire would be 100% unexceptable for that amount of power.

New shock is supposed to be similar to klmx 1/0. klmx is supossedly rated for up to 250 amps. I figure worse case scenario If I run 2 runs that we be capable of 400+ amps.

well in that case maybe u need 3 runs. my wire is rated at 300 amps and 1000 volts so maybe u need some higher rated wire or jsut more runs

Why 3 runs? I doubt the aqx-3500 at .5 will draw over 400 amps. Or will it?

just for reference 200' of new shok will cost $372 shipped. 160' of kolossus fleks will cost around $600 shipped.

My bad, I guess you misunderstood me. I will be running 2 runs of power and 2 runs of ground for each amp. A total of 8 runs front to back.
