Hmm, two 8"s?

Just to put this out there, I'm trying to keep total airspace under 1 cu ft. Do you have a link to the DD 8"? I don't really know what brand DD stands for

I don't really have that much space. They only put numbers for a ported enclosure though, could I get by with a .5cu ft SEALED enclosure on their subs?

they look way too much like these cheapo 8inch subs I have had in the past... hmm...

But since looks have nothing to do with performance... you would be way off in this case.

the cones, surrounds, and dustcaps look identical... and on the woofers I have, the surrounds become very soft after a fair amount of use, and the cones are rather weak...

I agree with the assassins. I run 4 of them on a Hifonics 1600 and they love it. Awesome subs, whoever said best 8" under $100, hell yea.

This would be a nice amp for 2 of those assassins. About 900 watts at 2 ohms. That should get those subs wanging.

Yea, its a mono block. It's around 350-400watts per sub, and I have my gain down some b/c they are overpowering my highs,lol. So I still have a/b 1/3 of a turn on the gain knob I can play with also, those subs are quite underrrated. I think a Hifonics 1200 would work well with two of the assassins.

I ran 600 to each and they loved it....I have four still laying in my room. Two are going to my friend, and each of my two brothers is getting one. Fun subs...

Building an enclosure today... 0.9 cubes at 35 for one, Ill tell you how it sounds in a few days when my bros new amp comes in...It will only be powered by 210 watts (on a budget)...
