so i pulled my jl xr650csi out of my old truck with the crossover still conected and everything, but when i hooked it up the first speaker to my new car all i can hear faintly is the tweeter. the speakers worked when i pulled them out and i tried reversing the +-. i obviously have no idea what i'm doing

Any suggestions... my car is a 96 thunderbird. it has a factory amp in it now but my jl 300/4 is going in here as soon. also i tried to put the factory speaker back on and it too was quiet now... the rest are still blastin
