Aight, well i got volfenhag 12 right now, its OK but im just bass crazy/hungry, and i want something more... I have been directed to the 19 Ov.2 but i understand that eD is more of a SQ brand. And i have a 95 honda accord which i dont wanna fit in my trunk . So heres where u pro;s come in... im thinking about getting a 15" but i want it to have a lil bit of SPL, i was thinking about the D6 15" or i was just looking at that XXX, so i mean im not rich here, so i defeintely want it to be a value... can anyone put me in the right direction? How much is that XXX 15"?

edit: i have a Hifonics 1000D amp, is there a 15" that i can push with that amp?

The XXX is around $450 (I think) and is a great sub but really needs a true 1200-1800 watts to shine I am told....I would look at the 15 inch SX model instead of the XXX with that amp. The D6 is this the Diamond D6 or something else.

That amp will probably toss out a true 850 watts...you have to have a dual 2 ohm for that amp to put out good wattage. So I would look for a sub that can work well with that amount of wattage.

A D6 15 does well it wouldent be a fair comparison to an XXX though,leave that for a D9..

You feed a D615 1000 watts in the right enclosure and you have a badass setup -

thats more comprable to an eD ov.2 both are what I consider SQL subs

I think he said something about not wanting to fill his trunk......that sad, you could do a Dls SP15- haven't heard one but I haven't heard anything from Dls that wasn't awesome, If you want more of an SQL sub and don't want to run your amp @ 1ohm, check Out Dls's UR15- same motor as the Iridium (true SQ sub) but with a magnesium cone. The Eclipse Titanium 15 works well in small sealed or vented enclosures. I'd say about 2.5 cubes vented. Give it between 1000-1500 watts.

get a 15" kicker compvr of ebay for like 60 bucks, they get loud and have a little sq if you port em

wow thanks for all the help guys.. im really liking that SX by RE, how much they cost? i dont like kicker.. i dunno its just a personal grudge i just dont like them. as for the type-r i like it ALOT but it just seems everyones got em nowadays u know, especially on this small island where alpine is a really popular brand..

So im trying to decide between the 1522 Type-R, 15" SX, or that Diamond D6 15"... of all those which would run best? and run best on my amp?
