Hmm. is this what mechanical noise sounds like?

So I have a sub in a sealed enclosure. It's at about 1000 rms. When its hitting hard if I put my head right above the sub I can hear like a faint squeeky sound. Like almost if u took a fork and scraped a plate. Its not mega loud, but its noticeable.

I pulled the sub from the enclosure and ran it free air. I juiced it til it bottomed out a bit and never heard the sound.

Any ideas?

Btw, not sure of the sub brand. Its unmarked. Just tryen to diagnose for a friend.
