Hmm.. 2 Ga wiring kit I found.. any good?

its pretty good...

only bad think is they dont say how much wire feet u get.

also if u really need 2ga u might wanna pic up an ANL fuse holder with maybe a 100a fuse min.

and as stated above wire is wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hey yall i need major help my girl has a 10in rockford fasgate sub in the back and 2 pioneer 220peak 6x9's with a jvc 200 watt deck,450 watt amp the sub has 300 watt peak so it is not bridged the sub sound fine but the 6x9 crackle when you turn the bass and volume up past 28 the deck goes to 50 shouldnt the 6x9's handle 200watts if they are 220 peak?.....let me know what i should do to fix the cracleing oh and also when i fade the speakers to the front the sub goes off then when i turn them all the way to the back the sub goes back on is this supposed to be like this it seems that the 6x9s are wired into the amp but i checked wires an cant figure how that would be i dunno much about it because bust buy wired it dont sound like they did a goo job HELP ME!!!!

220 peak is not continuos power, so expect anywhere from 50-100 to be their limit

.....let me know what i should do to fix the cracleing oh and also when i fade the speakers to the front the sub goes off then
it does this because the sub amp is plugged into the "rear" set up imput, most newer decks offer a designated sub input so this wont happen

when i turn them all the way to the back the sub goes back on is this supposed to be like this it
yes

seems that the 6x9s are wired into the amp but i checked wires an cant figure how that would be i dunno much about it because bust buy wired it dont sound like they did a goo job HELP ME!!!!
they are probly wired to the deck or wired to the amp under the dash somewhere, but probly being powered off the deck

I believe the above kit is the same as this one:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32808&item=5723762589&rd=1

It lists all the specs there... only an 80A Fuse though. Questions is, could I just buy a 100A Fuse and put it in that fuse holder?
as far as i know they dont make a 100a AGU style fuse sry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

how much power u plan on running? the 80a might work for now

Check the fuses on the back of all your amps. Just make sure the fuse attached to your positive line equals about the same as the total of all your amp's fuses. You could go about 10 amps less to be on the safe side.

200 Watt deck? oh Max power output..... so your really only giving the 6X9 23 Watts RMS and 50 Watts peak(almost never gets 50)

you need to amp the 6x9 they are being way under powered. thats why they are crackling.

Planning on running 1000W for now, but I've heard that the amp is underrated so I may decide on more in the future
80A fuse is fine for 1000w temporarily. I've been running that for 2 years now w/o any problems.

Probably would be a good idea to get an anl holder and a 150A-200A fuse. That would be plenty of room for a sizable upgrade.

i got a kit from that company and it was horrible, wire is not wire in this case, not 2 Ga by any standards, look at a real #2 wire compares to that, youll see more insulation that wire on that peice of crap, i wasnt happy at all, and they dont care if you complain at all, if you look in their feedback youll probly see a bad one from me a while ago, its a no go, youd be better off with weldingsupply.com wire then buy whatever else you need separate off ebay.
