Nah man... Not with the power he has. I did 2 15" Mags in my buddys explorer n it's alright but It's just not what I was expecting off of 3k rms. Good daily beater if you got the change for it but you can get louder. Idk just not my first choice from personal experience.

hmmm. i know loyd lowry did a 150+ off 2 12" mags and a 20.1 (which has been known to put out roughly 2400+w @ 1 ohm). on MUSIC with the TL mic. id say its an install issue.

box volume, cancellation, amp settings, etc. not saying it is, but thats what i would assume it is.

but yea, supposedly the Q came out louder on just about all freq in the great 12 challenge. take it for what its worth.

because 2 18's in too small of a box that is WAY to tall for my car and is a bad design will not be as loud as 2 15's in an optimal box with a good design.

Not an install issue lol. It was more of the fact that his ford explorer sounds like a tin can w/ those subs inside of it lol.

From what I can tell...you are looking for SPL...not SQ. In my opinion the BL has more SQ than the Q has SPL (if that makes sense). The Q gets loud and low but the BL seems to take off when you give it over 1kw.

i heard my friends 18's last night in a box thats a lot better than mine. still a little on the small side (6 cubes each) with a memphis 2500 on them...sounded pretty **** good even on his weak electrical.
