i am getting an 06 4runner and it has the JBL synthesis audio system in it (which i probably wont be changing cause it really does sound good), and it comes to my attention that there is a factory amplifier. Now, i checked the fitment stuff on crutchfield ( i wont be buying from there, they just have all the stuff i needed so i checked it out) and i need another set of wire to bybass the stock amp. Now what im wondering is, after i change out the HU, will my speakers still sound the same? or will they be different?

the HU im getting will be a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB or something similar to that.

Running off the HU, yes not as much power as the JBL amp. Thats if you can even run the stock speakers off an aftermarket HU. Speakers different ohms than HU? My Blose out of my Murano were not just a swap, but I also couldn't replace the HU.

hm i see, yeah i didnt even think of that, and i will have to look into it.. but yeah this is a simple double-din to single din swap for the HU, but i didnt even think of the ohm match up, i didnt think HU needed certain ohms to the speakers lol

Good thing is that if i do get new speakers, its an ultra easy install with the tweets already in the perfect spot and all
