it was on the history channel the other night. if someone trys to rob you, even if they are unarmed, you can shoot to kill, to protect your home and family, the castle being your home.

So im from charlotte north carolina and theres this new hobby going around which is hitting licks. My friend went to take the trash out yesterday and there was four black guys sitting at the bottom of his steps at his apartment complex. he goes back up stairs and into his room when he hears boom boom. he comes out and sees the four black guys all straped yelling where the **** is the money at. they stole his flat sceen tv and xbox weed money and what ever they wanted and just left, this was about 2 oclock in the afternoon, also about a week before this my other friend got held up by 3 black dudes with guns and they took his weed and money. It is a growing hobby around here for people to just hold random people up for fun, is this a growing problem in your citys too?

not my city, but then again theres few blacks in my city. if i lived in black city like somewhere in texas yea id probly get held at gunpoint

dont know, some dude shot and killed two black guys who were robbing his neighbors house. he said he thought they were going to rob him. and they were unarmed.

the dude had his shotgun in one hand, the phone talking to the police in the other and somehow he was video taping it too. it is diffrent for each state, and only in like 23 states. he didnt serve any time in jail. castle = home.

yea its called hittin licks. basically is strong arm robbery..
hittin a "lick" would be the following

breaking into someone's house/car

rob someone walking down the road

rob someone in their car

rob someone at their house.

most of the time groups of guys do it when they need money, they never plan on killing anyone, just a way for a fast buck.

One of my homeboi dealers robbed one of his buyers once, and he described it as hittin a lick

I know alot of people that have been robbed, and I know 2 people who have had their cars stolen in the past 2 weeks.
