Hitting dicks

So im from charlotte north carolina and theres this new hobby going around which is hitting licks. My friend went to take the trash out yesterday and there was four black guys sitting at the bottom of his steps at his apartment complex. he goes back up stairs and into his room when he hears boom boom. he comes out and sees the four black guys all straped yelling where the **** is the money at. they stole his flat sceen tv and xbox weed money and what ever they wanted and just left, this was about 2 oclock in the afternoon, also about a week before this my other friend got held up by 3 black dudes with guns and they took his weed and money. It is a growing hobby around here for people to just hold random people up for fun, is this a growing problem in your citys too?

yea its called hittin licks. basically is strong arm robbery..

hittin a "lick" would be the following

breaking into someone's house/car

rob someone walking down the road

rob someone in their car

rob someone at their house.

most of the time groups of guys do it when they need money, they never plan on killing anyone, just a way for a fast buck.

One of my homeboi dealers robbed one of his buyers once, and he described it as hittin a lick

well weed is always a factor cause me and all my friends be burning on a reg. but both had never seen the people before in their life so i guess they were both set up by people they had sold to before. and hitting a lick means commiting a robbery to dumped
