Hit road bump, subs stopped working??

Alright so i was driving last night and i hit a road bump and my subs stoppped working. it happened right when i hit it. so i take it to best buy today (where i got everything installed) and he says all connections, fuses are good but honeslty i dont think he looked that hard. he says there is probably something wrong with the amp. so i say okay, and i take it to a place which specializes in car audio, and they say they doubt its the amp because it turned off right when i hit the road bump. the amp is power acoustik and the subs are l7s. what do you guys think the problem is, im a young noob i need some help thanks alot

so the best buy dudes didnt get basically dirty and check your fuses... wiring etc...??

and you took it to a "car audio place" but they didnt at least take out the DMM and check the basics???

i think you need to check out your own system beginning with the faulty wiring that most likely happened at bust buy,,, check your gronds VERY closely and regroup.

this is most likely a VERY EASY FIX.

honestly bro i dont know, how can i tell if im getting power to the amp, im 16 im confused and pissed that i might have blew my amp because i paid a lot for these and my parents were against it the whole time haha

use a dmm if u have one or be gangster and see if it sparks lol

change ur fuses. sometimes the dont look blown but they might be

what do you guys think the problem is, best buy said the amp but honestly i think he just wanted me to buy one hes lile "yeah its your amp, if you want you can buy one from us" and he looked around for 8 mins tops.

do you guys think its the amp? because i highly doubt it because it shut off right when i hit the road bump

stand back, calm down. take a deep breath and listen to what we tell you to do..

first.... take off all of your speaker wires from the amp... does the amp still turn on??

next, double check your power wires and goound to the amp... many shitty installers will not give you proper continuity as they hook things up too fast. if you hit a bump.. it is possible that you "grounded out"

yea im gonna take it back tomorrow to tell them to really look at it, today at best buy the guy just looked at only 1 fuse and thats because i made him.
