Hey Got a question alright i got 2 12 inch audiobahns 500 watts a piece in a bandpass box but im underpowering them with a 500 watt jensen but it is bridged but it was hitn good and then all a sudden it like hit real hard like where my mirrors were shaking so bad i couldnt see anything then it just went back to just hitn normal now could this be just cause its underpowering thats my guess what do you think?

maybe just hit your resonant frequency? was it a moving bassline?

maybe you got a higher input voltage to the amp (how's your electrical system, steady 14.4V?).

Did you have anything open when this occured?What kind of bassline?A song name would be more helpful.Did you bump anything (like a setting on your HU) somehow?

Box specs. ? Might've just hit a lower note.Or some note really over emphasized (sp?) by your box.Which is very likely, most pre-fab bandpass boxes can be peaky.

The Song Was Bring Em out By T.I. and the bassline was like at the beggining of the song normal then like when right before the song hit it really hit hard its on a 12v hook up running with a 8 guage rockfordfosegate power cable to the battery the band pass box is 4 ported and plexi glass on top .... all the windows were open it was in a 2 door in a lincoln mark vii 89

Alright im gonna play that song again to see if it does it again i think its just the way that my box was tuned i never got info on the box though since i got it for my grad present but idc it hits good enough 4 me but eventually i will need to upgrade to a higer wattage amp underpowering the subs now at 500 watts on the amp and 200 from the hu pushn out

The headunit's power won't really affect the subwoofers FYI. But good luck.
