I was lucky. My friends had good stuff like DD before I got my license. They gave me guidance and helped me out a lotI don't get what is funny about this.
Unless we got lucky and had someone experienced helping them when they started, we all were like this at one point. I know I was. My first system was a set of L7's and a ZX1500. I know now I overpaid, but at the time I loved it and it hit hard as hell. I know now I can get better for less and help everyone I can to not make the same mistakes I did. But I had no one to help me when I started out and I didn't know about this forum.
A better idea would be to message the guy and tell him about the forum and how he can get better for the money than kicker.
The brands we know and love on here aren't sold in most stores. So a new guy goes to a shop and most times kicker is the best thing that they have. And its a recognizable name.
But again, this really isn't funny in any way. Don't waste your time watching it
I was similar. I started off with a cheap (Great SQ though) Autotuba. Came to the forum in search of an amplifier after mine died. Then I properly educated myself. And I still learn more everyday.I was lucky. My friends had good stuff like DD before I got my license. They gave me guidance and helped me out a lot
my first system cost a grand, but I now realize I overpaid. It was louder than a DD 9515, but did not sound even close to as good. The first boxes I built were questionable... lolI was similar.
