High SQ yet, high SPL? Help please!

Ok, I'm now looking at putting two 15" Mag's in my truck, and wanted to know...how high is the excursion on these subs, and are there any other 12 or 15 inch subs that are near the Mag's SQ? Ideally, I'd like to have a great sounding system, that's rediculously powerful/loud.

If 2 mag15's isn't loud enough for you, well then you're far beyond the realm of SQ and into SPL territory.

Displacement is important, but if you're talking about a ported enclosure, things get more complicated...for a sealed enclosure, yes, the more air is displaced the more SPL you'll end up with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Xmax is one spec, out of many. Don't go shopping for drivers based on that alone.
