High output alt question

I'm about to buy an alt and was wondering if anyones heard anything or used any products by powermax-alternators on ebay. They give a guarantee and have good prices. Was just wondering if you guys think they're worth a shot? Heres the one im thinking about getting. if you do get it i would make sure there is some type of warranty or guarantee that comes with it that if it doesnt do 240 at whatever rpm you can get a refund. Then the first thing i would do when i get it is take it to your local alt shop before you put it on and get it tested.

just dish out the money and get a DC Alty or something similar

you want a decent cheap alt go look at Starters, Alternators and more for Cars, Trucks, Tractors and ATVs they aint no DC or Mechman but they are good for the price i am running one in my mustang and its doing pretty dam well i dont have any complaints

Thats why I asked. I'm sceptical, just didnt know if anyone had any experience with this company. even if it only does 200 that'd still be worth the money

you want a decent cheap alt go look at Starters, Alternators and more for Cars, Trucks, Tractors and ATVs they aint no DC or Mechman but they are good for the price i am running one in my mustang and its doing pretty dam well i dont have any complaints

I bought one from this company before. It was in my mercury that got totaled. I should've taken it out lol. But for the money I was very happy with the product. And the service was great to. They messed up and sent me the wrong alt at first and fixed it very quickly. I might go with them again, was just wanting to see if anyone knew anything about this other company.

It might do 240 @ 4000RPM .. what matters is idle. It probly only does about 50 @ idle which is worthless. Its way too cheap. Something is not right. I always sayyou get what you pay for. Look into some DC alts. I have been impressed with mine..
