This is a 5.2L alt the mounts look EXACTLY the same but it doesnt look like its self regulated like the one I have, in other words it should mount fine I just have no experience with the regulator being external.

The mounts are the same on the 3.9L 5.2L and 5.9L If anyone knows how the regulator stuff works please feel free to enlighten myself and the others that may be interested //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I will throw in a brand new Stinger LED Voltage Gauge with the alt, I need this thing sold I'm also dropping the price to $175 OBO.

Heres a pic of the voltage gauge:

im very interested as i blew a diode in my old rewound 200 amp alt. can you tell me if it has upgraded diodes to go with the rewind? any performance specs? the problem with mine was it did not really make much current at idle and i think the diodes were stock so it stopped charging at low rpm's. not trying to get in the same situation again.

did you run dual 2000 watt amps or totaling 2000 watts?

Yes the diodes were upgraded, unfortunately i have no performance specs for it though. I was running in the 2500-2700 watt range total with only 1 extra battery with great results.

What kind of power are you running, and how many batteries do you have? The batteries are important as they take some of the stress off of the alt during idle.
