High amp alternator.

I have a powermaster 200 amp large case. The connector(atl regulator) on my car has a 3 wire(98 gm v6) and the alt has 2. yellow and red. How can i wire up red and yellow.

It might be constant and switch but i dont know about regulator wiring.

i got it connected, just want to make sure it right.

the red wire would be constant and yellow is switch on.

i foung the constant from factory alt plug but switch on(ign) not there.

So the factory atl plug has yel/red/wht, yel on constant and is what red turns the alt on but for some reason doesnt read 12v on dmm.

its a 98 olds v6 intrigue. Its working but not much diff from stock. ill try calling them.
