hifonics?????

Is the hifonics BXI-1206D any good?Had some one tried them?

please let me know.i want to use it for 2 kickers comp vr122 they are 400 watts dual voice coils.will the hifonics do the job????

For the most part, Hifonics = crap. If you can afford better, get something better. I don't know what your budget is, but there are many other options and Hifonics is bottom of the barrol or close to it.

hifonics are just fine... def not at the bottom...

maybe go a step up for a lil more$ cuz they might be over rated a few rms but overall are good amps...

Hifonics is pretty decent for the $$$, although this time around i have been having quite the time with my XX-hercules. Will be goin in for the second time on warranty sometime this week.

Never ran any other amp on my subs then hifonics(never brutus) but always worked great for me never had ne troubles!

I'd would have to agree with the the second post. I had two of them that blew on me. I bought the first one from an ebay store called eclectic mart. It blew when I first installed it which was bs because I set the thing up exactly how I had my old system set up and never had a problem before. I did what the instructions said and the next thing I know, the thing is smoking like a burnt hot dog. So, I email eclectic mart and they tell me to return it so that their distributor can test it and they will send me a new one. I agree and two weeks pass and I get a new one. This time it worked fine when I installed it. Loved the thing. Made my SSD's pound and I couldnt ask for more. About two weeks later, the stupid thing starts going into protect and then later the entire thing blew on me. I emailed Eclectic mart again and this time I asked for a refund. They came through and refunded the majority of my money. I ended up buying a Diamond 1200.1 from someone on this forum and it comes tomorrow. Hoping that this amp will be a little more reliable than the brutus. I understand that some people haven't had a single problem with them. If it were me, I wouldn't buy one. This is my experience and my $0.02.

ive always had a good experience w/ them... i just got the bxi2006 and I had the old 1206 wich was way underrated but the new models seem to be a lot less underrated ..hifonics is great for the price, but if you have the cash...then I would go a little bit better...
