ED is an upgrade, IMO.
The NiNe.1 and NiNe.2x are better than the 2 amps I have. I have the BXi1206D and the ZXi 4006, and they aren't putting out very much power at all, especially the 4006.

9.1 isnt better than the 1206D...Trust me, I did the swap. Neither have super clean power once you turn it up and neither do much more than 1000-1200w in the real world.

I never had quality issues with my bxi2006d, but it barely pushed the type-r's i rented from best buy.

Solid amp, in my experience, but i was honestly shocked at what a little amount of power it put out.

That amp has the ability to do at least 1700w. I'm just speculating but I'd imagine it can do at least 1700w. That isnt a 'little' ammount of power. I was going to get that amp, but I decided to go for the XX Hercules instead. I hear the BXI2006D puts out about 1700-1800. I've heard the xx series are actually a little underrated. I will see. I wouldn't really put Hifonics in the budget amp category either. Yes some of the lower lines are overrated, but also they make some massive amps pushing serious power. just speculating isn't going to cut it, fryman

i wasted months with the amp

rewired with 0 gauge, bought a 240A alternator, and when even that did nothing, put a brand new battery under the hood, a redtop in the back, and a kinetik 800 6 inches from the amp, even bought a velleman
that amp is garbageware, plain and simple

What should I upgrade to then?

I am currently running 1 RE SX 12", but I have another sitting in my room waiting to be installed..so I need an amp or 2 amps to power these. What do you suggest, Orion?
