Have anybody heard the Hifonics Brutus BX12D2 subs perform?Cuz I wanna know if they are good subs and can really thump.

You can bet a hundred bucks that if you throw in 20 other mid-level brand name subs in the same price catagory together, that you would not be able to tell a difference with a blindfold on while you listen. They don't make subs, they market them. Just like 99% of the others out there. If you want to try them, it'll be like trying any one of many others. Just a heads up on the reality side of the equation.

Pretty much. There is better, there is worse.

I'm sure they are decent enough.

What are you going to pay for them. Maybe I can suggest somthing better in the same price range.

I have a Hifonics BXI2006 amp. N I want 3 subs that r Dual 2 ohms. So i can wired them into 1 ohm impedance. So I was thinkin bout 3 of the Brutus subs or 3 Kicker CVX 12''s. ANy other good suggestions?

Well you can't wire three dual 2ohm subs to a final load of 1ohm.

So maybe think about another option.

being that its 1.50 and under id say its closer to 1 ohm then 2

Great suggestion: Go to DDAUDIO.COM and look at the 1000a series subs. They are single 4ohm nominal, actually a DCR of 3.5ohms each. When you put three of them in perallel together, you have the impedance you are looking for. They are quite poplular with crossfire 1000d amps and a trio of the 1000a's. The 500 series 12's are now available from DD. They are rated at 250wrms and 500w music. They also have a single 4ohm coil that DCRs at 3.5ish. On that amplifier, which is likely to be lower than 1kwrms, a trio of the 512's would be pretty damped impressive! The 500's cost less than the 1000a's. How much, I assume 20-25% less than the 1k's.

hifonics have nice *** amps but i don't kno about their subs. Personally id stay away from them but thats just me. You can try them if you want.

I wouldn't recommend them. Haven't heard any Hifonics subs in person but from what I heard they are simply average. Could do better for the same price
