hifonics ?

One of my friends is interested in building a new system and i was wondering if hifonics amps make out to be what they say. there isnt any thing wrong with L7s i just put the face because im not sure if there amps are what they say they are. i'm not sure on what model i would use or my friend would use i geuss im refering to there brutus amps and mono amps like th bx1500 and so on.

ive owned 2 of the brutus line up amps. bx500 and bx1000. great amps for the price you pay for. however, they dont do rated power on my stock electrical system though. im sure if i had an HO alternator and other goodies, i would actually get nearly 1000rms watts from my bx1000d.

the brutus line up of amps are great amps for subwoofers. never heard or used their other model like titan/falcon/etc.

i heard of the coloussus* and gen-xx ... .$$$
