500 watt comps, umm i dont think so!!

They are something like 100-120 RMS I believe. FWIW I bought a cheap pair of hifonics 6x8s and they actually surprised me, theres better out there but for the price they sounded pretty good and handled power pretty decent.

I have heard good reviews on them.. and for the price I dont think you can go wrong on them. But theres definitely better out there. The type r components are pretty warm/rich sounding if you ask me... I wouldnt mind having a pair.. but even then theres better out there

Im more of an spl type though, so I'm hoping a sq'er with experience on these chimes in
