Hifonics XX-Hercules

im also looking to see if it will push 2 12" L7s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Just my 2 cents from reading all reviews and personal experience...

If you have a 14.4 volt system, it should actually do anywhere from 2200-2500 @ 1ohm. The rated power was given at 12.6 volts. This would be good for 2 15" L7s, and it would probably wang the f**k out of 2 12" L7s, you'd have to be careful with gains on 12s. I'm putting my Herc on 2 12" Rs so I think either of you would be safe with those subs, just have to be a bit more careful with the 12s.

I don't know exactly how efficient it is but I'm sure that you would not be dissapointed, the Gen XX are Super D class, made to be very efficient.

Pros-

-They will do 2400+ with a decent electrical system depending on variables.

Cons-

None that I can think of, from what I told they don't even get hot at .5 ohm. Of course running an amp at that low of impedance will stress the amp more regardless.

If you want more info, PM Ali1 on here. He knows a ton about this amp, he has it running at .5 ohm on 2 12"s.

I will give an official review when I actually get mine installed.

No. It should definitely satisfy you at 1 ohm. Not worth all that hassle.
hopefully cuz right now im running them off my planet audio bb1250.1 which is ~1000wRMS @ 1 ohm and its hella loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

man....if you think theyre are loud off 500 rms a piece, i guarantee you will be blown away if you put them on a herc @ 1ohm.
