HiFonics Taurus Question???

I had a friend call me today, that he was selling an amp. I went by his house before work to check it out. I took a really quick glance since I was in a hurry. All I remeber it saying on it was HiFonics Taurus in purple. It is rated at 50x4, 1ohm stable, and it says Made In The USA on it. How good is this amp, I know it is an older one. He wants $100 for it, do you'll think its worth it. Thanks
