my friend works at some arab stereo shop and he can get me a good deal on a hifonics amp. Im pretty tight on cash so i can only spend about $150-200 if i got a diff amp. I am getting an Eclipse 88120.4 which is 500 rms 1000 peak. Should i just get the hifonics or is there a better sub I could get for around that price range with enough watts to power the eclipse.

hifonics ames excellent entry level amps...

they also ahve some really nice higher level amps, ie son of boltar (or whatever its called) let us know which model you are lookin at..

i havea Zeus z200 pushing my 2 200W RMS 8" RF subs... and they khit relaly good...

Yep, at the amplifiers. I get the same 14.7 volt reading when they cutoff too.

Yes, they are painted. The cover is very easy to take off and repaint to whatever color of choice to match the install.
