hey i was thinkin of getting the new HDc3 12" in a 2.5sqft @ 34hz, been on a lot of forums and that seems like a banger. but i am troubled with what am i should get to run it.

Power Acoustik A3000db (just doesn't make sense that it does 2300wrms @ 1ohm but peaks out at 3000w..)

have heard good things about both. planning on doing the Big 3, and am not trying to get a high performance alternator for awhile, so i fear the A3000db will create too much voltage drop, which in turn is bad for the equipment(?)...

i was also thinking of maybe getting the new AA Havoc 12". no reviews yet, but looks like a solid speaker. would this be a better route, due to the fact it wont be as power hungry?? i want as loud as possible, but don't want anything to get ruined the first time i try and show off...

any input would be great.

the hdc3 is going to be sweet. i myself am getting 2 15's when they come out. as far as power, you need alot more. i have heard a kicker 2500.1 @ 1 ohms works good on them. i am putting a bxi2607d @ 1 ohm on it for daily. they can handle more but thats all i got for daily. for comps i will wire each amp @.25 ohms.

i am more in the market for an amp that wont break my pocket either (always could upgrade in the future though.) would the bxi2006d be a good choice (only 600 watts less than the 2607)?? rather than the $450 bxi2607d? and what about the havoc 12", heard anything about them??

They don't "need" a ton of power to get loud, but will take it if you have it. I ran a 15 off a SD 1500D and it was **** loud getting around 1500+
