Hifonics or SPL

I would looking for the cheapest but still realiable amps that can push close to 2000 rms. and i saw hifonics had one that was close to 400 and then i just happened to stumble on SPL amps... never heard any thing from people about them? are they good and realiable? does it push the rated power? are they realiable? the one im looking at is - SPL DK-3400D , tell me if this is a bad choice or not. They would be pushing 2 12 SSA or MTX, BL, or something around there.

never played w/ spl b ut hifonics are a tad overrated so for the one that says it puts out 2000 RMS id say it really does 1800-1900

SPL is made by the same company as Power Acoustik. The A3000 is also slightly over reated, but at 2300 you should easily get a good 2000 watts @ 1 ohm, and they can be had for around 300 shipped online.

Wait which hifonics? because if you are talking anything in the xx-line they are normally a bit underated.

alright thanks guys, and the 2000 watt SPL should be able to power 2 15'' SSA icons right? or if not aleast 2 12'' SSA icons.. or if not aleast 2 type rs..???
