Hifonics or Elemental Designs

Ok guys, i'll be pushing 2 Type R 12's. i was really going to go for the ED Nine.1, 1200W @ 1ohm amp but then the Hifonics BX1205D 1200W caught my eye for some reason. Now i'm debating on which one to choose. plus the Hifonics is lesser in price.

then i'll be going with the ED Nine.2, 400W amp or the Hifonics ZX4000, 400W for my memphis components.

Which one would you choose and why?

ED...IMHO the only good hifonics amps are the XX GEN

as far as hifonics goes, all you need to know is Series VIII. Series VIII Boltar.

Dont get me wrong the only thing in my eyes that make hifonics not the best is that they over rate there amps, and thats bout it. They last REALLY well and can take a beating. But they are over rated alil to much.

I have absolutely no problems with my Hifonics BX1205D pushing my 2 12 in. Type R's. More than enough power for my use.

i ran the old bx1500 (03 model i think) versus the 9.1 in the exact same install and the 9.1 more than out did it in power......(hifonics claimed 1500 vs. eD's 1200)

eD def has a pretty bad rap for themselves on most forums except their own....but so far their amps have ran really well for most ppl including me and i've owned 9 or 10...something like that
