Maybe, maybe not? But their old amps were solid power houses. The Collossus has been banned from competitions.(well, it was 2 amps in one, but it made some serious power)

That would put the 5kw at 4.4kw and the 10k 8.6kw

Also, only a handful of people are going to have the electrical systems to be able to power those to that level...

yea i agree is hifonics gonna give out alternators and batterys cause not to many poeple can afford that kinda stuff...if people wanted that they would buy a better brand

I'm sure Hifonics / Maxxsonics / Crunch is aware of the slander; Perhaps this is an effort to reclaim some credibility.

You'll all eat crow if they juice that much and more;

they cost a buck a watt and they are very similar lookin to u.s. amps' 12,000 watt amps which are massive and very well built. i think they'll b reliable if any of u hifonics flamers could even afford 1

I don't care, I'll never own one. I have no intentions that would make need for that kind of power. about 3000 is my max.

xx stuff always been pretty solid people get the misconception all their amps are the zues or brutus lines. only bad thing i recall on any hifonics hi end is they had some problems with processing but other than that if i recall right the colosus of the 80's was the first 1000 watt amp.

2x 2awg power inputs will not safely provide the amount of current needed for 10000wRMS. I know I wouldn't use 2awg.

the generation XX amps do their rated power plus some. Dont le tthe brutus amps put a bad taste in your mouth, ever company has a lower line for ppl looking for bang for the buck, its just smart business.

Well, thats true and its not true. If someone is running one of these amps, then you must figure they are a competitor, so the amp is not going to be very far from the battery, so dual 2awg may be abley to support the amperage pull needed.
