Hifonics Hercules H35 3000.1D Actual power?

I remember years ago people recommended the brutus brx series of hifonics because they were cheap and durable but also known to be over-rated. Even though they were over rated they were a good deal. My brother has had one for 10 yrs without any problems.

However my friend just got this 3000 watt Hercules amp, anybody have any idea how much power these things actually put out at 1 ohm? Is it really around 3000rms?

I would like to know because i'm trying to help him set the gain on it, thanks

2500+ on solid electric and zero rise. Decent amp.
