Hifonics goliath 3212, how much power will they need?

Since I pretty much have given up on finding a pair of goliath 3215, I'm thinking about getting 4 3212 instead. how much power do they want in a daily driver? is around 1000wrms enough?

I have a Hifonics xx colossus amp, do you guys think it's enough? (it's the 40" long version) I've heard it puts out around 3800watts when measured

With only one Collossus amp I would suggest you go with only 1 Goliath sub since they are rated for 3200 watts. And I think it would be hard to have a big enough electrical system that powers 4 3212, especially in a daily driver.

Ok, that kinda sucks...

Even though I don't think they actually would need 3200wrms a piece to get really loud, it would be a bit much to put 4 of them on a single colossus....

How about the 2412 series then?

would the colossus be able to push 4 of them?

I'd really would like to go with all hifonics gear in my car since I already have a colossus amp, and I'm awaiting an olympus amp very soon...

really? i would imagine that he would be underpowering them alot. My friend has a collossus on on 3212 and it didn't even seem like it was enough. But of course his electrical sux. Still, I don't think it's a good idea to push 2 3212 with one collossus. Yeah, that's what I meant too. That's why I wanted two 3215 in the beginning....

but now i really don't know what to use anymore...

I was considering to look for other brands a while, but as i said, really would like to use hifonics only...

what do you think about pushing 4 2412 with a single colossus?
