Can I run a stereo rca output directly in to the amp or do I split either left or right channel of it?

run it right to it, just run a wire from the right and left rca output on your cd player, to the right and left input on the amp

I have a txi 4406 4- channel. Can I run one set of rca's to it or do I need to run 2 sets for 4 - channel operation?

well they make 4 channel rca's, but you could run 2 sets of 2 channel rca's. but you would have to do one of the two in order to have 4 channel operation, unless you just split a pair of 2 channel rca's.

if your looking to split them, shoot me a pm, i got 2 y-adapters that will work perfect for you. and if you did that you would only have to run 1 set of 2 channel rca's to your 1606, and then one set to your 4406 with my y adapters, and waaalaaa, your up and runnin.
