hifonics bxi1606 amp for pioneer premier subs

Well if the subs are rated for 1000rms a piece, its kind of in the middle.

Supposed the hifonics puts out 1600w @ 1ohm, you'd be feeding both subs 800w a piece, which will probalby get them moving well enough. More realistically you'd prolly get 1400w or so out of that amp so 700w a piece.

Even then it would sound nice, so its just a preference.

My noobx advice.

THANX 4 REPLIES. Ok, another question, Ive currently got a Fusion Powerplant few15 sub at the moment rated at 500wrms, 1200 peak. Do you think im gonner blow the hell out of it if I connect this amp to it. The sub is in a slot ported box tuned to about 32hz ?

lots of variables, but i'd say it should. if not, send me the premiers and put the 15 back in.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

lol mate. my dimensions are 32 long, 16 high and any depth but prefer 16-18 deep. would the premiers work in this box with a slot port, a design would be good if possible
