yes. you could also install it, bump it for a while, and see if the wire warms up any at the battery. a hot wire is a sure sign that it can't handle the power.What will i be looking for via the dmm? Voltage loss?
do you have an amp for components or speakers?K, i will have the amp set to 1000w rms but it wont play music on that wattage, rarely it might have a note that hits the 1000w mark but not continuously. Right now i have an amp that does 500w rms tuned via -3db 50hz tone and on songs it usually playes in the 300w to 400w range, the song Put on by young jeezy will hit exactly 500 on a bass hit 2 min 48 seconds into the song.
So hopefully i wont be pulling too much power, i expect about 800 to 900 watts normally.
