hifonics bx1800d amp wont turn on

Last night my subs cut off, so I checked the amp and noticed the protect light was on. I Checked the connections and everything looked good. I turned off my car and went inside. When I went out to my truck the next moring and turned on the ignition, I heard a pop and noticed my amp power/protect lights were not on. I noticed the inline fuse on my 4 guage wire was burnt. Replaced it and still no power.

I noticed the "hifonics" on the top of the amp is lite up but no power light. I took a volt meter to the 12volt and I'm getting power. I also tested the remote wire and I'm getting power.

I could not find any fuses on the amp. I took it apart as well. Nothing. I also checked the fuses on the back of my deck and everything was good.

Any Ideas why my amp would not be powering on?

When I opened it up I did not notice anything that was damaged. Should I be looking at something specifically?

smell it, if it smells burnt your toast. You said you can't find any fuses on the amp? The two hifonics amps i have owned both have fuses on the side of the amp.

It does not smell. It does not look burnt either. I cannot find any fuses on the amp...seems really wierd unless Im overlooking one inside the amp. If it was inside the amp would it look like a normal 30amp fuse or different?

maybe the amp went ca-put... what was the gain set at? how hard was it abused?

Its about 6 months old. Gain was turned up half way. I really haven't abused it. This is rather odd really.

No smoke no nothing, it justed decided to walk out on me all a sudden.
