i know someone who has hifonics bx1605d for sell. Its 1600 RMS x 1 at 1 ohm. Anyone had any experience with this amp? How is it? Is it a pretty good amp? I haven't heard a lot on hifonics. It will be hooked up to two 15 inch dual 4 ohm L5s

Please tell me everything you can.

Bahn sucks ***, a had 2 of those A8000T amps, those are also overrated..

i use to have that amp and it was great. they go for about 220ish on ebay last time i checked. guy i sold it to emailed me and said he blew his 15'' L7 running it at 1 ohm. that was his fault he had it wired to 1 ohm on a different amp, and left it at 1 ohm on the 1605 bad choice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

it may not be exact, it wasnt termlab. Its a DB meter that my dad got from work that they were required to use. They had a high dollar professional one come in to caliberate it and it was 10 decibals too low. How accurate that is to termlab i dont know. It is in a car though so that usually helps.

the bx1605d would be a good choice amp to run two 15" L5's. hifonics overrates their amps, i would expect at least 1400wrms from that amp...thats still plenty for two l5's

Hifonics > crap on a stick > audiobahn

I'm going to be getting a Hifonics BXi 1606D for my Dual Diamond D6 12"s

Hopefully all goes well
