Hifonics brx2000.1 or Audiopipe apmi2000?

I'm looking for a good cheap 2000 watt amp and I see these two amps have pretty good reviews. I'm pushing 4 old school planet audio z-15's in a ported box and they are rated 400w rms each. They don't take much power to move either. I was wondering which amp would be better for me. Thanks for any input.

They're similar quality. Both have been offering cheap power for a long time so Id go with the one that's either cheaper or fits best in the space you have. The AP is long and skinny right? Might not fit as well in the space you're working with.

The ap would be a tighter fit yea but I have a big trunk area so I'm not too worried. The hifonics costs $30 more so I wanted to know if that $30 is worth it lol

30 dollars is negligible. No neither amp is worth more money than they other. It would come down to fitment and aesthetics for me. Also, check the setting knobs and see if theres any difference. Are the terminals the same? You may prefer Allen wrench to Phillips head for example.

Nope. Its just gonna be a temporary amp or permanent cheap amp for you, it'll push stuff fine but dont expect great lows or good efficiency. You'll need to spend money on electrical upgrades like big 3 and an agm upgrade or else those amps will drain your vehicle dry.

I would lean more towards the hifonics than the AP, but hell you could run an SQ 1200 and have a more efficient amp that probably puts out more clean power than both of those. A PPI bk1800.1 would be a good choice if you can find one.
