so i hooked up my brutus 1606D amp up at .3ohm load at 65v for a burp and it didnt blow up! i had it full tilt for 2-3 songs and it barley got warm, i was impressed, thats all i have to say, and for the competing guys do you think this amp would be any good in some of the 0-600 classes its rated at 550 at 4ohms, or will i still get crushed by some higher end amps that can crank big numbers, and also what do you think its putting out at .3 ohms?

a freind of mine jsut hooked up a 1210 hes only at 4ohms tho 'dual voice coil subs i have to rewire' so only 450w rms but yeah the amp is deff great 'great line/series'

Also wouldn't recommend doing that, but to each their own. Mine runs at 2-ohms and does a fantastic job there.

I have the 2608d one and love it! Favorite amp thus far I have owned in the Maxxsonics line up besides my MM Autotek.......old school MM at that.

they are regulated but they will run @ .5 if you juice em good. and a 1600 at .5 on 15 volts does over 3kw

i run my 1608 at 51.3 volts at 1 ohm but i have no clue what the actual reactive is due to box rise. thats at 50Hz as well. but i am also running it at exactly 14 volts solid.
