Hifonics 2607d's stable daily @ .5 ohms?

ive heard mixed arguments about this subject, and I need a final answer, can I run my bx2607d @ .5 ohms daily??? my new sub stage depends fully on the answer so I don't want to be f'd around, thanks like usual guys!

I think it depends on how hard ya wanna play it.....but it can run for 30sec bassrace run at .5 ohm each

Well, my buddy sean had one in his daily driver and he meant to run it at a different load but it ended up getting wired to 0.5 (I guess that's what happens when you wire while drunk?).

It lasted a few days but it ended up dieing for good. Idk what caused it, whether it was a voltage drop in his electrical or just that it can't hang with it, but if I were you I wouldn't try it on a music setup daily at 0.5.

Let a few others chime in though, it may have just been he had a crappy electrical.

yeah, but for now I do have a crappy electrical.... thanks for the input though, I might just have to look into getting different subs, the reason I asked, is that I could get a really good deal on 2 juggernauts but they were both dual 2, which in turn would make a .5 ohm load which I doubt this amp could take with my electrical, lol thanks for the input though guys

Well whats your budget for an amp? Maybe we can help you find something that'll work for ya. And what coils are the subs?
