how long has it been like this did u just get this set up? and if so u still braking in the subs right?

hell ya just got the subs 3 weeks ago....they do move quite a bit tho i dont think their fully broken in

In my 05 Impala, they are extremely loud. Very good bass. I love these Type R's, my first time experimenting with Alpine subs.
I did a sound competition on Saturday and got 2nd place in the 130 class @ 138.7db.

I was told by several people though, that im just pissing those subs off because the box is too small for it. Its a pre-made groundshaker slot ported box. It is kinda small...

They also told me I could easily be hitting around 144-147 with a bigger custom box. I was planning on building one, but I just came up on some 08 12" L7's for $100 each, brand new. So Ill be making a box for the solobarics.

Where you get a deal like that? I'm in the market for one of those...

so i got the amp today there no fuse for the amp it says it calls for a 200 amp fuse. my power fuse is 250 amp going straight to the amp is that cool. i never had a amp that has no fuses.

cool yea i was looking it over i heard that they dont have fuses but that shit was throwing me off. thanks man oh yea subs gona be here tuesday ill see what u up to lets get these wired up and get them making some boom boom ahhaha. yea im gona let them idle all night tuesday and wensday durning my brakes and lunch and after work. so i should have 10 hours of brake in time for wensday night. i dont think im gona go full tilt but to see what they can do for a few secs i might get them to move a bit.
