i have this amp running 2 08 l7 12's and they slammed def a good amp. i ran it at 2 ohm so 1300 rms and it did great but if you can get 1 ohm then your gold. also no matter how long i ran it it never got hot it was usually barely warm i ended up getting a matching 680 4 channel. i know there considered "budget amps" but they work great and it didnt take a whole years paycheck to get

im sure you can use a credit card not through a paypal account. id probably shoot them an email and found out for sure.

are the type Rs loud with that amp? im about to have them same set up.

In my 05 Impala, they are extremely loud. Very good bass. I love these Type R's, my first time experimenting with Alpine subs.

I did a sound competition on Saturday and got 2nd place in the 130 class @ 138.7db.

I was told by several people though, that im just pissing those subs off because the box is too small for it. Its a pre-made groundshaker slot ported box. It is kinda small...

They also told me I could easily be hitting around 144-147 with a bigger custom box. I was planning on building one, but I just came up on some 08 12" L7's for $100 each, brand new. So Ill be making a box for the solobarics.

Wouldnt doubt it. These things are beasts.

Decibals were being measured from the windshield.

Im sure each 12" could hit around 144.7 if I had a dedicated amp to it, at least a Brutus 1200Watt @ 1-Ohm, and custom box built to specs just for the Type R.

Def get the ssd;s with copper and the 2008d, it bumps, ill get vids after school if anyone wants? it shakes the sheat out of everything. my roof flexes a good 3 inches and spoiler goes everywhere.
