hifonics 2006D vs soundstream 1500D

I've heard the hifonics will do around 1600w @1ohm but not sure about the soundstream. Which is the better of the two as far as efficiency and true power?

Really? I've only heard it does 1600 but How would one know for sure? I mean you can't really bench an amp without a huge power source and bunch of equipment am i right? Also the amp will only put out what your car electrical system allows. That's why i'm wondering which out of the two is more efficient.

yea i think the 1606 would be good for about 1600 watts, the older ones like the 1605 doesn't put out rated from what i heard. the 2006 should be around 2k depending on electrical

No, all you would need is a clampmeter and a basic understanding of Ohms law. The people who say the Hifonics does only 1600 didnt test it at all, they just think hifonics is crap.

We do both and the 2006D is Def more power than the SS 1500.
