Some internals have been updated and are a bit beefier, and the new one has better processing as well. Whats the price difference? Is it worth it to YOU?

Well sonic has a 1206d for 170 free ship and i think u can get 1210d's for 230 range

Well i can get a 2010 for 210 and a 2006 170. Are the upgrades worth my extra 40 bucks?

From what I've heard, all the hifonics stuff is pretty reliable, BUT, the newer stuff does closer to rated power than the previous models which were slightly over rated.

If it were up to me, I'd go for the new one. What are the benefits of a brand new amp?

Plus the 1210d should have a warranty if purchased authorized but I highly doubt a 1206d will!

Well they are both from sonic on ebay. Both have 1 year warranties.

Or I could get a refurbed 1606d with a 1 year warranty from sonic for $200 shipped.

So my choices are

Refurbed 1206d - $170

Refurbed 1606d - $200

Brand new 1210d - $210

The 1606 has two 80 amp fuses so I'm thinking it would do it near rated 1100w @ 2 ohm, while I'm leery about the single 80 amp fuse on the 1200 series running at 900w @ 2 ohm.

Spend the extra money on the Hifonics BXI 1210 D. Why not take advantage of the updates and improvements on the latest Hifonics version!

OFMG is it really that hard to decide? If you have the coin get the newer one. I'd go with a 1610d at least.
