Could you mount it inside your box? because if the idea is to alert you\make the theive's ear's bleed before he gets your stuff. couldn't you mount it inside ur box? or in the spare tire well? i was thinking about this today.

you can mount your brain were ever you want, if you do it in your box you just gonna have to run a bunch of wire to the front of the car since thats were a majority of the wires you need are at.

doing would actually help thieves more than defeat them....mount your brain somewhere in the front & if you want to hurt there ears mount some piezos under your dash & maybe in the rear of your car too.

mount it behind the glovebox, behind the radio, under the drivers or passanger seat, inside the center consoul under the plastic liner. just remeber you will have to extend wires if you mount it to far away.

And that no matter where you put it a good theif knows their is only one place it can get 12v con from and thats yous battery so be sure do do a back up batt just incase
