Hidden antenna question

I found these onEBay. My cars antenna has been shaved since I got it so this may be a nice option for me. I contacted the seller and they said they sell, but don't know anything at all about the male end of it. I'm assuming I may need an adaptor to fit my alpine head unit so I was planning to buy the adaptor accordingly. Has anyone ever used these, and do you remember one specific model vehicle the end does fit?

Aftermarket head units use a standard "motorola connector", you shouldn't need an adapter to use that antenna.

When we use to shave antennas we would leave the stock antenna attached to the radio and just put the antenna end somewhere safe like the fenderwell or in the dash. Do you not have the stock antenna assembly anymore?

No, it was shaved when I got it. As I said, I was going to use one I have from a civic (pillar mount) but.decided not to drill any holes.in the body. The end.on that antenna would have needed an adaptor also...
