XenTec bi-xenon for $119. Was using Silverstars, but another one burnt out, so I figured I'd give these a try. And I'm getting older, so my vision sucks at night //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifwhat kit and bixenon or just low beam and how much
aren't they!! I love mine.. Cheapest/best investment for safety i have made.. i might try those dangling ropes next.. the have metal buckles.. anyone know how to use em.. I have a metal do-dad and a plastic do-dad.. probably not important..I was gonna go with some HID's for my dakota. My fogs are already bright as shit. But I've been reading about too many problems with the plug and play HID's. Some are going out early. And if you have voltage drop from your system it will affect the HID's. I just put the Silverstar ultras in and they are great. A real world of difference.

you can still use hids with reflector housings retrofit solutions are made to be used with refective lensHIDs look best when paired with projectors...
I wanted to upgrade my lights to HID but I have the plain old "textured" headlight lens so it would basically just throw light everywhere and blind anyone in my path...
So I'm thinking about retrofitting some projectors, might be a fun project for you to try. You would need your stock headlight assemblies, projector lenses, shrouds, (bulbs/ballasts aka the HID "kit"), and basic hand tools and glues and you could make something really sharp looking.
